Snowed In

After 5 days of Grandma and Grandpa being snowed in at the farm, it took a large tractor with a blade and a tractor with a blower working together to get the lane open! Being from the city, it boggles my mind how patient everyone is around here about waiting for the right conditions and the right equipment. It's just not as simple as calling your local snow plow guy and having him come plow the driveway. Many of the farmers with large tractors couldn't even get out to help people with their equipment because the country roads were drifted shut. Just a whole different world!
